What's old is new again

I love unearthing an artefact (er, an old piece of clothing), that’s been neglected, forgotten, or thrown into the to-be-ironed basket, only to see the light of day again a month, a year, or several years later (yeah, I really hate ironing ๐Ÿ™‚ Such is the case with this sundress. I have a picture of me wearing it just after finding out I was pregnant with Viggo, which was four years ago nearly to the day, and I haven’t worn it much since. I remember buying it to beat the heat because it was so light and airy–and yesterday it came in handy on another hot and humid day here in The Big Smoke. Although it reads pink in photographs, it’s actually very thin red and white stripes so I was also Canada Day-ready! I wore it with minimal, black sandals and black and white checked sunglasses for a simple, humidity-friendly look.

Cute! By the way, get outta here with your bombshell hair lately. Sooo nice! It’s infuriating.

Thanks, Anne. It’s just getting back to its length pre-chop from nearly two years ago. Please smack me if I ever say that I’m cutting it again!
