Home for the Holidays

In order to escape #icestorm2013 and our chilly hydro-less home, we fled to Niagara (and the warmth of our parents’ houses), on the 23 and have been here ever since. I’ve been spending my time watching Viggo enjoy his new toys and read his new books, seeing friends, hanging with my mama, and taking advantage of some Boxing Week online sales. I’ve been choosy about what stores I’ll visit physically because while I’ve been a Champion Boxing Day Shopper in the past, this year I just didn’t feel like wrestling a crowd of people. But Target was an exception. All of their clearance went on sale for $5 (!) just prior to the holiday and I snagged some great stuff including this pair of window pane pants. I wore them here with a denim shirt, heels, a blingy necklace and a faux bob for a casual yet festive look for family dinner on Boxing Day.
